Qaid-e-Azam founder of Pakistan, known as 'Baba-e Qaum' Muhammad Ali Jinnah(1876-1948). An honest, dedicated and ingenious visionary leader of the Muslims of the subcontinent. Who united them and his vision led them to gain their separate identity as a state. He stimulated the other leaders and together with them worked hard to get a separate homeland where only Muslims from diverse backgrounds would live and pursue their Islamic traditions and culture. He had drawn the map of Pakistan into South Asia's Geography with his tireless efforts.
On the 147th birthday of Quaid-e-Azam, let's revive the Slogan FUD of his personal life which is Faith, Unity and Discipline collectively known as the 'motto'. It has a broader connotation but here it serves the purpose of a 'Guiding principle of Pakistan's nationhood' which is directly based on his personal life and a truthful message for the generations to come. During the partition time, was inscribed into the base of the state emblem, an object identifying the state and its provinces.
It was the recurrent motif of Quaid. A few months later the emergence of Pakistan in the world On December 28,1947 addressed the nation:
"We are going through the fire: the sunshine has yet to come. But I have no doubt that with Unity, Faith and Discipline we will compare with any nation of the world. We must sink individualism and decide to serve the people with honesty and faithfulness. We are passing through a period of fear, danger and menace. We must have faith, unity and discipline."
Initially, the newly created state had insufficient money to carry out its functions and lacked resources, infrastructure in offices and buildings and income but they were hopeful to get it to the right path through the power of the 'Unity' trust on 'Disciplined' over the dedication, integrity of the officials and workers for the successes of this nation. And the 'Faith' in Allah Almighty to bless this country.
Unity is the first and foremost slogan that reflects the harmony among the individuals of a particular society and group to achieve a common goal. This article aimed at analysing the National Security Policy Report 2022-26 demonstrates a change in policy in terms of 'National Cohesion' the main purpose is economic excellence through the betterment of the standards of human development and 'promoting the unity in diversity and Patriotism by cherishing our vital national security interests such as ethnic-religious, cultural and linguistic diversity. The ideology of Pakistan is enshrined and has elastic potential in the Constitution to identify citizens of diverse cultures and provide them with a sense of unity. That is through the effective delivery of good governance.
Challenges
Social differences and divisive discourse are the concerns that incorporate the disruptive external support that has caused terrorism across the country a major threat to security. Aims to undermine national cohesion or incite disharmony on the issue of diversity. The policy suggests some points to cherish diversity through education and inclusive national discourse and inculcating tolerance as a major risk.
